What an unbelievable experience! Being in the
medical profession I was able to put my skills to
use for a population of unconditionally,
appreciative people. I gained so much by being there
and connecting with these families. I didn't realize
I was actually the one in need until they filled a
void I never knew I had! Thank you for an avenue to
really do something great in this world! Can't wait
to go again!--

When I participate in a medical mission, I receive
more than what I give... I receive the love and
trust of the patients... I return home full of
energy and looking forward to my next mission... I
thank God... I feel blessed

I find that medical
missions are extremely amazing in a spiritual
perspective, and in an every day life perspective.
Helping is something that is not only something that
makes God happy, but it makes us as people happy.
When you’re a kid, or a teenager, you’re more
selfish than the average person. But I still love
missions because for some reason giving time to help
people helps me. I don’t know why, but in the end I
feel like I was there so that they could help me be
a better person. After all, you never know what you
have till you’ve lost it. And I think these medical
missions are everything in one, and they are an
amazing experience. No matter how old you are you
can help someone, even if it’s just making them
smile.

Participating in Medical Mission to
Peru meant a lot to me.
At first it was just something my mom asked me to
do. It did a lot for me spiritually and mentally. I
think if you are looking for a life changing
experience you really should consider going some day
with the
Peru
mission. Even if you don't go just give a little by
giving us medicines, toys or anything else that
would make an impact on a person's life.
